Ruling

The conduct of a person who interferes with the orderly conduct of a religious procession in the presence of a minister of religion by ordering the bearers of the procession to stop unjustifiably in front of the house of the family of a Mafia boss, in his capacity as "head of the procession (capovara)", constitutes the offence of "turbatio sacrorum", referred to in Article 405 of the Italian Criminal Code.
