1. Public authorities have not informed the mother of a detainee about her son's whereabouts, thus violating her right to the truth. 

2. Public authorities' indifference regarding a mother's request to know something about her son's whereabouts can be considered as ill-treatment pursuant to art. 3 ECHR. 

3. The applicant has not been allowed any effective remedy for several violations of the ECHR.
