Meeting at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca

Next January 26, from 10 a.m., a meeting with Dr. Morris Tidball-Binz, United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, will be held in the Pagani Hall of the U7 building of the University of Milan-Bicocca

Over the past 35 years, in the face of armed conflicts and serious human rights violations, forensic science has proven to be an essential tool for establishing the truth about what happened, collecting the evidence needed to establish the responsibility of perpetrators and obtain justice, as well as preserving historical memory. Far beyond the technical aspects, as concrete experiences ranging from Argentina to Spain, Sri Lanka and now Ukraine show, knowing how to listen and interpret what the bones tell is essential for finding fundamental answers survivors and for society at large and building peace.

Prof. Sonia Stefanizzi, Prof. Gabriella Citroni, Prof. Ida Castiglioni, Prof. Roberto Cornelli will introduce and discuss the topic.
